Solarzellen – Solarmodule

A solar cell or photovoltaic cell is an electrical component which converts the short-wave radiant energy, usually sunlight, directly into electrical energy. The application of solar cell is called photovoltaic.

Solar cells can be classified according to various criteria. The most common criterion is the material thickness. We use to distinguish between thick film and thin film cells.

Another criterion is the material: the semiconductor materials, CdTe, GaAs, or copper-indium-selenium compounds can be used but the worldwide most used material is silicon.

The crystal structure may be crystalline (mono-/polycristallin) or amorphous.

In addition to semiconductor materials, there are also new approaches to the material, such as organic solar cells and dye solar cells.

Several solar cells produce a solar module. To meet the requirements of a plant for the production of solar electricity, we need to summarizes solar cells using several different materials. This group meets the following purposes:

Many customers find it difficult to determine the right size of photovoltaic systems. We have therefore created a guide
